Easy Vegan Marinara Sauce

This recipe is:

Ingredients needed

- crushed tomatoes    - onion - maple syrup              - oregano  - basil                            - garlic - chili flakes

Step 1

Heat up some oil in a pan, and saute onion until translucent.

Step 2

Add garlic and fry until fragrant. 

Step 3

Add crushed tomatoes, oregano, chili flakes, and salt. Simmer for 15-20 minutes. 

Step 4

Remove from heat, and add chopped basil and maple syrup.
