Vegan Egg Fried Rice

This recipe is:

- incredibly hearty and comforting  - better than takeout - meat eaters approved  - ready in 20 minutes

What you will need

- rice                     - garlic  - onion                  - seasonings  - carrot                 - peas                 

For fried rice: 

What you will need

- tofu  - nutritional yeast  - salt                 

For vegan egg:

Step 1

Mix together crumbled tofu, nutritional yeast and salt. 

Step 2

Cook tofu for for 5-7 minutes, or tofu is thoroughly warmed. 

Step 3

Heat up a pan and add in onion. Saute until translucent, about 3-4 mins. 

Step 4

Add in garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant. 

Step 5

Add carrot and cook until soften, about 3-4 minutes. 

Step 6

Next, add in rice, peas & seasonings. Stir until everything is well combined. 

Step 7

Lastly, stir in scrambled tofu and enjoy while warm!
