Flavorful Vegan Doner Meat

This recipe is:

- super meaty and juicy  - taste just like the traditional ones  - super versatile  - high protein and healthy

What you will need

- tofu                      - tomato paste  - wheat gluten        - soy sauce  - garlic                   - nutritional yeast - onion                  - seasonings                 

Step 1

Saute onion and garlic until fragrant. 

Step 2

In a food processor, add in all ingredients, except wheat gluten. Blend until smooth. 

Step 3

Add in wheat gluten. Pulse until everything is well combined.

Step 4

Knead dough for a few minutes on a flat surface. 

Step 5

Shape dough to a log and wrap it in foil. Bake for an hour at 400F. 

Step 5

Let it cool completely before slicing into it. Optionally, pan-fry shaved doner before serving.
