Juicy Vegan Roast Beef

This recipe:

- super meaty, juicy and tender  - bold and rich in flavor - easy to make  - Perfect for Thanksgiving! 

Ingredients needed

- wheat gluten            - onion powder - kidney beans            - garlic powder - tomato paste            - mustard  - nutritional yeast       - seasonings 

Step 1

Place kidney beans, water and other seasonings in a food processor. Blend until smooth.

Step 2

Add in vital wheat gluten and pulse until everything is well combined. 

Step 3

Transfer dough to a flat surface and knead for 1-2 minutes. 

Step 4

Shape dough into a log and wrap it in foil. Bake for an hour. 

Step 5

Let seitan beef cool for at least 30 minutes. You can now slice and enjoy it!
